Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

This policy explains what personal data coddi.io collects, why we collect it, where it is stored, and how you can have it removed.

1. Who we are

Coddi is a privacy-first meeting assistant currently in development. This website is operated by the owner of the Coddi project, who is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. The Coddi product is not yet available, and this site functions as a product information page and waitlist sign-up.

A US company for the Coddi project is in the process of being formed. Once registration is complete, this policy will be updated to name the registered company as the data controller. Until then, requests can be sent to the contact address in section 12.

2. What data we collect

We deliberately keep this to a minimum. Through this website we collect:

  • Your email address — only if you choose to submit it through the waitlist form.
  • Basic technical request data — such as IP address and browser user agent, processed automatically by our hosting provider to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not ask for your name, phone number, postal address, identity documents or payment details. We do not operate user accounts, and the site does not accept payments.

When a waitlist submission is recorded, our server log notes only the domain part of the address (for example example.com) so we can see roughly what kind of organisations are interested. Full email addresses are never written to application logs.

3. Why we collect your email address

We use the email address you submit only to:

  • add you to the Coddi waitlist;
  • notify you when Coddi launches;
  • offer you early access to the product;
  • send you important messages about the product, such as significant changes to this policy.

We do not use your address for unrelated advertising, and we do not send marketing on behalf of third parties. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting the form.

4. Where your data is stored

This website is hosted and delivered by Vercel Inc., and the email addresses submitted through the waitlist form are stored in a database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare D1). This means your email address is stored on servers run by these providers on our behalf, and may be processed in the United States and in other countries where those providers operate data centres.

5. Third-party services we use

We keep the list of third parties as short as we can. At present the following providers may process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel Inc. — hosting and delivery of this website. Vercel processes technical request data, such as your IP address, in order to serve the site and keep it secure.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — the database that stores waitlist email addresses.

These providers act as processors: they may handle the data only to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not currently use analytics platforms, advertising pixels, behavioural tracking tools, or an email marketing service. If we add any such service, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

6. Do we share or sell your data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with other organisations for their own purposes. Beyond the service providers listed in section 5, we would disclose personal data only if we were legally required to do so.

7. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track your behaviour across other websites. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies required for security and correct delivery of the site. Because we use no optional cookies, there is no cookie consent banner. If that changes, we will add one and update this policy.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep your email address until Coddi launches and the waitlist has served its purpose, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. You can request deletion at any time.

9. Delete your data or withdraw your consent

You can withdraw your consent and have your email address removed from the waitlist at any time, at no cost and without giving a reason. Email us at admin@coddi.io from the address you signed up with, or tell us which address to remove. We will delete it and confirm once it is done.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to object to its processing, or to complain to your local data protection authority. Write to us at the address above and we will help.

10. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted their address, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

Coddi is in active development, so this policy may change as the product takes shape — for example when we introduce accounts, payments, or a new service provider. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will notify people on the waitlist by email.

12. Contact

For any question about this policy or about your data, email admin@coddi.io. We aim to reply within a few business days.
